The eMeals Diabetic plan provides a consistent amount of carbohydrates per meal, with five meals each week with 50 to 60 grams of total carbohydrate and two lower-carbohydrate meals each with 30 to 40 grams of total carbohydrate. This plan includes well-balanced, heart-healthy meals consisting of lower-fat cuts of meat, low-fat dairy, whole grains, and plenty of vegetables and fruits. We provide the calories, grams of carbohydrate, and grams of fiber for each main dish and side dish.
The eMeals Low Carb plan contains an average of 10 to 20 grams of net carbohydrates* per meal. This plan includes meats and eggs, dairy, vegetables and healthy fats—and excludes grains and breads—for a low-carb approach to eating. We provide the grams of net carbohydrate for each main dish and side dish.
*Net carbs are calculated by taking total carbohydrates and subtracting fiber and sugar alcohol, which are thought to have a minimal impact on blood sugar.
